Are you struggling with your faith for children today? Is your heart just aching for the children you lost and/or don’t yet have? I encourage you to run into the arms of the Father. Let him wrap his arms around you and love on you and reassure you that he is faithful to his word.
I know you have probably heard this a million times, but all of the answers are in his word. There are so many promises in his word that you can stand on. But in order to stand on those promises, you need to have personal revelation of the heart of the Father and his faithfulness to his word. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you through the word to show you the faithfulness, goodness, and the whole character of our Father. Also ask Him to show you what promises you need to personally stand on.
The Father loves you deeply. He knows your desire to have children and this is why he sent his son Jesus to die for not only your salvation but for healing. Infertility and miscarriage are a defeated foe and under our feet! Be careful not to magnify the problem over Jesus. I find when I am struggling most it is because I am magnifying infertility over the done work of Jesus. This is why Philippians 4:8-9 is telling us to focus on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise. By shifting our focus from all our problems to these things peace will come in like a flood. I also find that when I magnify Jesus and all he is doing in my life and remember his faithfulness to me in the past that my faith soars.
Today I encourage you to seek the heart of the Father and to put less focus on your problems. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you how the Father has been faithful to you in the past and focus on those things.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:7-11
