First, I just want to take a moment to brag on my Father God. He is so good! He is worthy of our praise! There are no words to describe how good our God is to us. I am in awe at how much he loves me and cares about the desires of my heart. He cares that I want to have children, and I also believe that he put that desire in my heart. He did not put that desire in my heart in vain, and I will see my children. It’s not a matter of “if” my children are coming, it’s a matter of “when” are they coming. I believe they are coming soon!
Since my last post in March, I have learned and grown so much in the word and faith. One of the biggest things I have learned is not to let discouragement to take root in my heart because it will begin to destroy my faith and shift my focus from Jesus to how “big” my problem is.
“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:23
Don’t let reports that don’t line up with the word of God cause you to become discouraged. Just because you don’t see what you are believing for doesn’t change the truth in God’s word. It doesn’t matter if that negative report is your period, a negative pregnancy test, a negative doctors report, or anything else. The negative reports do not change the truth of God’s word. You have to come to the place where your heart believes God’s word above all else.
It is very important to not let discouragement take root in your heart because it will begin to destroy your hope and faith. You have to protect your heart with the word of God. The moment you feel that discouragement start coming in your heart begin to speak what God’s word says over yourself. Start confessing that the Father is faithful, that you are already victorious in Christ, that he made you the joyous mother of children, and just confess the Word that you have been putting in your heart. We have to learn to walk by faith and not by sight and continue to keep our focus on the promises that we have in God’s word.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
You have to choose constantly to rest in the done work of Jesus. You have to know who you are in Christ. The word says none shall be barren, none shall miscarry, that he makes us the joyous mother of children, so that is who we are. We aren’t the barren women, we are the joyous mother of children. Let the word of God fully convince your heart that you will see your children and that the Father is faithful to his promises.
“No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.“ Romans 4:20 – 21
“Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word.” Hebrews 11:11 AMP
Your heart won’t become convinced over night. It takes time for your heart to become fully convinced into completely without a doubt believing that you are the joyous mother of children and that you will have children that God has promised. Just spend plenty of time with the Father and focus on what Jesus has already done for you. Yes, Jesus has already conquered infertility. All we have to do is receive our healing and children by faith.
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:6-8
